The time has come – Pokemon Home is now available in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store as well as in the Nintendo Switch eShop. The app allows Pokemon trainers to store their beloved pocket monsters in one place.
At the end of January, the Pokemon Company further details about the latest application "Pokemon Home". The app allows Pokemon to be stored centrally and moved between compatible Pokemon games. The Pokemon Sword and Shield editions as well as Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee are currently supported. The Pokemon Go app will be integrated later, according to the company. A connection to the Pokemon Bank on the Nintendo 3DS should also be possible. At launch, users can manage their Pokemon, trade them with other players and receive secret gifts. This is what the description says:
Manage your Pokémon: You can transfer any Pokémon that has appeared in a main Pokémon series game to Pokémon HOME. You can also use Pokémon HOME for your Nintendo Switch family console to send specific Pokémon to your copy of Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield.
Trade Pokémon with players from all over the world: If you have a mobile device, you can trade Pokémon with players around the world at any time, no matter where you are. Try different types of trades like the Wonder Box or the Global Trade System (GTS)!
Complete the National Pokédex: By storing as many Pokémon as possible in Pokémon HOME, you can complete the National Pokédex and check all of their moves and abilities.
Receive secret gifts: You can receive secret gifts quickly and easily using your mobile device!
The application is currently being rolled out, so it may not be available to every user via the App Store search. However, if you would like to try the app out straight away, you can find it using the links below. (Image: The Pokemon Company)
