Fortnite for iPhone and iPad has received a brand new update – it includes some changes and improvements. 120 FPS support has also been added.
The iOS version of Fortnite has received a new update. Controller support has been adjusted and significantly improved. According to Epic Games, the stick buttons of the Dualshock 4 and Xbox One S controller can now be used. But the highlight is the new gameplay experience. Fortnite players on the iPad Pro 2018 can now play the title in 120 FPS - the change can be made in the settings. Previously, the limit was 60 FPS. This makes the animations extremely smooth, as the images are displayed at twice the rate.
A remarkable achievement
All in all, it's amazing that a mobile device like the iPad Pro can offer a gaming experience that would otherwise require powerful computers. The new Fortnite update proves once again how powerful the CPUs and graphics processors developed by Apple actually are - in some cases they outperform entire computers. As part of the update, Epic Games has provided a list of the patch notes on its own website - if you would like to see the list, you can find it linked below. (Image: Epic Games)
