Apple has announced two new series via press release. “Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet” is a comedy series while “Visible: Out on Television” is a documentary series.
“Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet”
According to Apple, “Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet” - produced by Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day - will debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, February 7, 2020. The comedy series includes nine half-hour episodes, all of which will be available from launch. Apple explained the plot of the series as follows:
Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet follows a team of video game developers as they overcome the challenges of a popular video game. In addition to McElhenney, who serves as creative director of the fictional company Ian Grimm, the ensemble cast also includes Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham, Danny Pudi, Imani Hakim, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Ashly Burch and Jessie Ennis.

“Visible: Out on Television”
The second announcement includes a documentary series called “Visible: Out on Television”. The five-part documentary – produced by Ryan White, Jessica Hargrave, Wanda Sykes and Wilson Cruz – will launch on Apple TV+ on Friday, February 14, 2020. Apple made the following statement about the content:
“Visible: Out on Television” examines the importance of television as an intimate medium that shaped the American conscience and how the LGBTQ movement has shaped television. The documentary combines archival footage with interviews with key figures from the movement and TV and is narrated by Janet Mock, Margaret Cho, Asia Kate Dillon, Neil Patrick Harris and Lena Waithe. Each hour-long episode tackles topics such as invisibility, homophobia, the development of the LGBTQ character and coming out in the television industry.
