The time has finally come – the wait is over. Apple has now announced that orders for the Mac Pro 2019 and the new Pro Display will begin taking place on December 10th.
Apple sent out a newsletter to interested parties yesterday evening, listing December 10 as the deadline. According to this, orders for the two professional devices can be placed from Tuesday. The starting price for the Mac Pro is around $5,999, while the entry-level price for the monitor is set at around $4,999. The new Mac Pro will be delivered in its basic configuration with an 8-core Intel Xeon processor, 256 GB SSD, 32 GB RAM and more. The powerful computer can manage up to 28 cores and 1.5 TB RAM - the price for the maximum configuration is not yet known. Apple describes the device as follows:

The XDR display offers an incredible 32-inch resolution of 6016 x 3384 with 1,600 nits peak brightness. The screen is available for $4,999 or in a special version for $5,999. Buyers can also purchase a standard VESA mount for $199. If you want something more, you can get the Pro Stand for $999. This allows you to individually adjust the height of the monitor.
