Apple's new Mac Pro received approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) today. This means that the powerful computer can now officially launch.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an authority that tests various electronic devices and then approves them for sale. Such approvals are usually published shortly after individual products are launched on the market - but in some cases the documentation is disclosed shortly before the official market launch - as in this case. However, the FCC's announcement can be viewed as an indirect announcement. Accordingly, the market launch of the new Mac Pro 2019 should take place soon.
Mac Pro 2019 – The Beast
The new Mac Pro is a true powerhouse and will appeal to every power user. Apple's new machine can pack up to 28 Intel Xeon processors, 1.5 TB of ECC RAM, 4 TB of SSD storage, and AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo graphics with 64 GB of HBM2 memory. The new Mac computer also has eight PCIe expansion slots. The beast, of course, comes in a completely new design.
This consists of a stainless steel frame with smooth handles and an aluminum housing. The housing has a grid pattern to improve ventilation. The starting price for the new power PC is around $5,999. It includes an 8-core Intel Xeon processor, 32 GB ECC RAM, a Radeon Pro 580X graphics card and 256 GB SSD storage. The price for the maximum configuration is not yet known. According to estimates, this could cost around $50,000. (Image: Apple)
