Apple users of a certain Amazon Fire TV Stick can look forward to new additions. The Apple TV app is now also available on this medium.
Amazon has now announced that the Apple TV application is available on the second generation Amazon Fire TV Stick, the 4K model and the Fire TV Stick Basic Edition. The new application can be downloaded directly from the Amazon App Store. But what is the use of the app? Users can access their iTunes library (films & series) as well as Apple TV channels. The new streaming service Apple TV+ (launching on November 1st) will also be available. Note: Apple TV+ requires a monthly subscription. The application has been launched in over 50 countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain and more.

Amazon also announced further devices. The Apple TV app will be introduced at a later date on the first and second generation Amazon Fire TV Cube, Fire TV and Fire TV devices from Toshiba and Insignia. Apple TV+ launches on November 1st and costs 4.99 euros per month - a free trial month including family sharing is also included.
