watchOS 10 will be the biggest software update for the Apple Watch since the first version of the operating system was released in 2015, it is now claimed.
Apple is expected to announce watchOS 10 along with iOS 17, macOS 14, and other new software at its annual WWDC keynote on June 5. Now claimed Mark Gurman said watchOS 10 will be a "major" update with "big improvements," including an "updated user interface." He did not provide any further details, so the exact new features and changes are not yet known.

Gurman said that only minimal hardware changes are planned for the next models of the Apple Watch, so watchOS 10 appears to be a focus this year. The first beta version of watchOS 10 is expected to be made available to members of the Apple Developer Program shortly after the WWDC keynote, while the first public beta version is expected to be released in July for participants in the free Apple Beta Software Program.
