Apple has secured the top spot on Forbes' annual list of the World's Most Admired Companies, marking its 16th consecutive year in the top spot.
As in the past 15 issues the list Apple maintained its place on the list compiled by Forbes. Once again, Apple leaves many large companies behind, including Amazon and Microsoft, which share second place, and Berkshire Hathaway in fourth place. JP Morgan Chase makes it to fifth place on the list, ahead of Walt Disney in sixth place. Retailer Costco makes it to seventh place, Pfizer in eighth place, Alphabet in ninth place and American Express rounds out the top 10. The ranking is based on a survey of around 3,700 executives, directors and analysts.
Apple is at the top in all areas – and rightly so
Broken down by subcategories, Apple tops all areas with a total score of 8.65 points. Of course, the company will be at the top of the computer industry again in 2022. The publication states:
The 25th edition of Fortune World's Most Admired Companies All-Stars list shows that the tech giants continue to be respected by their competitors.
Other categories in which Apple is ahead include innovation, human resources management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment value, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.
