Apple is not planning any major updates to its iPad, AirPods, Apple TV, or Apple Watch product lines in 2023, a new report claims, and it also gave a reason.
Apple is expected to announce its AR/VR headset this spring, and the headset's impending launch has apparently diverted focus from other products in Apple's portfolio, as Bloomberg's Mark Gurman notes in his recent "Power On" newsletter reportedGurman says no major updates are expected for the iPad this year. The next major update will arrive in the first half of 2024 with the 11- and 13-inch OLED iPad Pros. Gurman says Apple may introduce minor spec improvements to the entry-level iPad, iPad mini, and iPad Air.
No major update for AirPods, Apple Watch, Apple TV and iPad series in 2023
As for the AirPods, Gurman says no significant updates are expected this year, which could rule out the possibility of an updated version of the AirPods Max. The AirPods Max are the most outdated product in Apple's AirPods lineup. Rumors have it that a lighter and cheaper version is in the works. For the Apple Watch, Gurman doesn't expect any major hardware changes this year, aside from some minor performance improvements to the Apple Watch models. In September, Apple announced the brand new Apple Watch Ultra, so minor updates are to be expected for this and other models in the lineup. According to Gurman, Apple has no plans for a new Apple TV in 2023. Are you interested in the iPad Air 2022? The mid-range tablet is currently priced from 689 euros available.
