According to Apple, there is a day-one software update with bug fixes for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models that will be shipped starting this Friday.
Those who preordered in time will receive their iPhone 14 model this Friday. But according to Apple, the devices will receive a day-one software update. The company writes (via @AppleSWUpdates):
This update provides bug fixes for your iPhone and fixes an issue that may cause some photos to appear soft when zoomed in landscape mode on iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The update will be available for all iPhone 14 models that launch this Friday. It is the final version of iOS 16 with build number 20A362, which was released for other iPhone models earlier this week.
iPhone 14 models: The update is already live
The first iPhone 14 models will ship with an earlier build of iOS 16, so the update will be available immediately. It seems that Apple has also released this update for the iPhone 14 Plus. But that device won't be released until October 7th. It's possible that a newer iOS 16 update will be available by the time the iPhone 14 Plus is released. Apple released iOS 16 to all users on Monday after several months of beta testing. The most important new features include a customizable lock screen, the ability to temporarily edit or revoke iMessages, improvements to Focus mode, and more. The free software update is compatible with the iPhone 8 and newer models. (Image: Apple)
