Apple has now distributed a redesigned third beta of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 to developers, along with the first public betas. Both updates add a new lock screen feature - a full-screen music player.
Since iOS 10, the music player on the lock screen was available as a smaller map player that took up only a small part of the screen with a miniature version of the album art. latest In the beta version of iOS 16, the album art is shown in the foreground and there is a separate, smaller music player below that you can use to control playback. The album art determines the color of the lock screen background, but if you tap the bottom of the display, you can return to your normal wallpaper and minimize the player.

iOS 16 beta expands lock screen
To return to the album art interface, simply tap the album icon in the minimized player. The larger music player on the lock screen is part of the iOS 16 lock screen overhaul that allows users to customize their lock screens with unique colors, fonts, and looks.
