Apple is apparently working on renaming the iTunes Pass card in the Wallet app to “Apple Account Card,” as new images in the current iOS 15.5 beta version show.
iTunes Pass is a way to store credits that can be used in the App Store, iTunes Store, and iBooks Store on a card stored in Apple Wallet. Users can then add gift card credits to their iTunes Pass and spend them digitally. In the latest iOS 15.5 beta, released Tuesday evening published high-resolution areas of the so-called “Apple Account” card were discovered (via Twitter).

iOS 15.5: iTunes Pass to receive new branding
Further details about the card are unknown, but it will probably work in the same way as iTunes Pass - just with new branding. Apple has moved away from iTunes branding in recent years. In 2019, the company eliminated the app in macOS Catalina and split its functions into three separate and standalone applications for music, TV and podcasts. On Windows, however, Apple has largely retained the app. (Photo by DenPhoto / Bigstockphoto)
