A new rumor says that after the “iPhone SE 3” in 2022, Apple will launch an “iPhone SE+ 5G” that could be released in 2023.
After numerous rumors surrounding the iPhone SE 3 and a more radical redesign in 2024, the supposed iPhone SE 4, it is now claimed that the design change will appear sooner than expected. The iPhone SE will also be available in 2022, but the fundamentally redesigned "iPhone SE+ 5G" is expected to appear in 2023.
iPhone SE+ 5G: An OLED screen is not ruled out
The report comes from Display Supply Chain Consultants analyst Ross Young, who recently reported on the "iPhone 14 Pro" in his Apple reports. In response to questions on Twitter, Ross Young later added that it is also possible that the screen will use an OLED instead of an LCD panel. The prerequisite for this: the cost of displays must have fallen sufficiently by then. Young generally has a good track record when it comes to information from the supply chain of Apple's future products, at least with regard to displays. Whether he will be right again remains to be seen. (Photo by Unsplash / AB)
