In October, Apple introduced new accessories alongside new MacBook Pro models and AirPods 3. But one candidate stood out in particular in the fall: Apple's polishing cloth - or as I affectionately call it, iLappen. Now Apple seems to have full stocks again.
The news that Apple would now be selling a polishing cloth for 25 euros hit like a bomb. Admittedly, the price is steep for some people. But it's not just any polishing cloth, it's Apple's version, which does an excellent job. The product is advertised as follows:
iLappen: Apple's polishing cloth is available again
The polishing cloth is made of a soft, abrasion-free material and cleans every Apple display, including nano-textured glass, gently and thoroughly.
Whatever the case, when the iLappen went on sale in October, delivery times shot up like crazy. At one point, prospective buyers had to expect a wait of around 12 weeks.

But now Apple seems to have full stocks again, as can be seen from the online shop. Anyone who orders a copy today will have it delivered by the end of the week. However, the polishing cloth is not available in Apple stores and is therefore - currently - offered exclusively in the Apple online store. It remains to be seen when Apple's own stores will be included. (Image: Apple)
