WhatsApp for iOS will see more changes in the coming months. A redesigned chat list is currently being tested to make the interface cleaner. To do this, the application plans to remove certain UI elements.
As WABetaInfo reports, WhatsApp wants to improve the chat list view with a clearer design. For example, in version 22.1.71, the WhatsApp team removed the "Broadcasts" and "New Group" options. These options have remained untouched for years. But since users can already create new groups when they start a new chat, the button is no longer needed.
WhatsApp: Notifications are also being revised
But that is not all. According to the publication In a future update, WhatsApp will place a new entry point for “Broadcasts” in the user’s contact list, which will be available when the user taps the same “Start new chat” button in the top right.

In the last few days, WhatsApp has also started to release new tweaks for the app test. So, in a future update, the application will add your contacts' profile photos to notifications when someone sends you a message. This means that every time you receive a new notification on WhatsApp, the contact's name and their profile picture will be displayed, similar to Telegram. (Photo by Denys Prykhodov / Bigstockphoto)
