There is currently a debate about whether Apple is actually working on an Apple Music app for the Playstation 5. This discussion was sparked by linking options that at least one person has seen.
A Reddit user discovered the availability of Apple Music when he created a new account on his PlayStation 5. The Apple Music symbol was also displayed in connection with the music streaming service Spotify. However, there is currently no way to download the app. When you try to download it, an error message is displayed stating that the app is not available.
Will Apple Music be expanded to PlayStation and Xbox?
Another user speculates that Apple Music could also be released for PlayStation 4 consoles. While Apple has never announced that Apple Music will be released for PS4 and PS5, it would not be a surprise since the Apple TV app is already available for PlayStation consoles.
The fact that the Apple Music icon appears in the PS5's music menu is a strong indication that the two companies have an additional agreement.
