According to various reports, Apple is planning to introduce a completely redesigned MacBook Air next year. Now an Apple analyst has come forward with further details.
Well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has addressed the next MacBook Air in a letter to investors. Kuo believes that the next-generation MacBook Air will go into mass production at the end of the second quarter or beginning of the third quarter of 2022. Accordingly, the presentation will most likely take place in the fall. In an earlier forecast, Kuo stated that Apple will fundamentally redesign the MacBook Air. The analyst expects the device to appear in a thinner and lighter design and to have a mini-LED display. In addition, it will have an improved M-series chip and be more colorful.

What place will the 2022 MacBook Air occupy in Apple's product lineup?
It remains unclear where the new MacBook Air will be in Apple’s product range will be positioned specifically. Earlier this year, it was claimed that the next generation MacBook Air would be a high-end option above the current model. As for the MacBook Pro range, Apple is still expected to officially unveil two devices in 14- and 16-inch sizes by the end of this year. These are expected to feature a new design, a better M-series processor, mini-LED displays and more. Although there are currently no concrete indications, some observers believe that Apple will hold a second event in October. The focus of this keynote could be on the Mac range. So the whole thing should remain exciting. (Image: Jon Prosser x Rendersbyan)
