The dedicated share button for sending a post has been moved back to the tab bar and replaces the previous info button.
Reload
There is again a reload button next to the domain name, which provides quick access to reloading a page. Apple had removed this in an earlier beta version and replaced it with a long press gesture. Reloading can also be done via the share button.
Show bookmarks
When users long press on the URL bar, the “Show Bookmarks” option now appears, making it much easier to access saved bookmarks.
reading mode
When Reading Mode is available on a website, there is now a small icon you can tap to activate it. Reading Mode is also accessible from the sharing interface.
iPadOS 15
Apple has also updated the design of Safari on the iPad, bringing it into line with the design of macOS Monterey Safari.
MagSafe Battery Pack support
Support for the brand new MagSafe Battery Pack was added in the fourth beta of iOS 15.
camera icon on the lock screen
Apple has slightly changed the design of the camera icon on the lock screen. The button on the left side has been removed and the size of the flash and lens ring has been increased. The settings icon has also been updated.
shortcuts
Shortcuts has received a “Back to Home Screen” action that can be used in automations.
notifications
The notification icon in the Settings app has a new look. Apple has also added a new button to disable notifications during screen sharing.
Share focus status
In the Messages app, users can tap a contact's name and choose whether or not they want to share their Focus status with the person.
App Store Account Design
Apple now uses the new settings layout for the App Store Accounts area, with rounded edges and separate sections for each account option.
photo storage
There is now a functional interface for sharing memories in photos, with an option to select a song suitable for sharing if an Apple Music song cannot be shared for copyright reasons. Both iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 and Co. are currently available in beta for developers and regular users who are registered in the Apple Beta Software Program. The final versions of these updates will be released in the fall as usual, according to Apple. (Photo by Unsplash / Brandon Romanchuk)
