We have already read several reports about a new third-generation iPhone SE. Now, however, there are more details about the launch and features.
Reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has once again spoken out and revealed some details about the third-generation iPhone SE. Kuo believes the two major upgrades will be 5G and an improved processor, with the new entry-level iPhone set to be unveiled in the first half of 2022. Kuo predicted back in March that the new iPhone SE would be released in 2022.
iPhone SE: The design is to be revised in 2023
After 5G was first introduced in Apples iPhone 12 series, it is expected that the lower-priced model will follow suit. In addition, Kuo expects the iPhone SE 2022 to have a similar design to the existing 4.7-inch iPhone SE. The new device will, however, receive a processor upgrade. As for the design, another analyst pointed out back in April that the iPhone SE will get a punch-hole display in 2023 (while confirming Kuo's prediction that the form factor will remain the same in 2022).
