There are a lot of new features in iOS 15, so many in fact that Apple didn't have time to introduce them all during today's keynote.
One of these new features is a built-in authenticator that allows iOS devices to be used to generate verification codes for additional login security. At the moment, app-based two-factor authentication is handled by third-party apps like Authy and Google Authenticator.
