The battery life depends not only on the hardware but also on the user's usage. Consumer Reports has tested the iPhone X, iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max. The result is clear.
The iPhone Xs' built-in battery is smaller than its predecessor. Nevertheless, Apple claims a longer battery life. The reason for this is the new A12 Bionic processor. This is not only faster but also more energy efficient.
Apple promises a better battery life. The iPhone Xs should last half an hour longer than the iPhone X. The iPhone Xs Max should even last 1.5 hours longer. The consumer experts are more than satisfied. Apple has understated this. After a robot simulated normal everyday operating steps, the battery lasted 24.5 hours. In direct comparison, that is 4.5 hours longer than the iPhone X.
As expected, the iPhone Xs Max lasted the longest. Apple says it lasts 1.5 hours longer and that was exactly the case. A full 26 hours of battery life are possible with normal use. The 6.5" device also has the largest battery ever installed in an iPhone. However, it should be noted that battery life depends on each individual user.
Anyone who uses their device intensively every day will certainly not achieve such runtimes. The software also plays a major role in battery life. Nevertheless, everyone should generally be able to get through the day just fine. Are you happy with your battery life? Write it in the comments. We are curious to hear about your experiences.
