Apple is working on new Beats-branded wireless in-ear earphones, as images in the tvOS 14.6 and iOS 14.6 betas show.
Apple has released the release candidate versions of iOS 14.6, tvOS 14.6 and Co. this evening. Now the MacRumors staff Steve Moser discovered brand new Beats Studio Buds in the code of iOS 14.6 & tvOS 14.6. They are different from any previous Beats headphones Apple has released as there is no earcup like the Powerbeats Pro or a cable like the Powerbeats. The Beats Studio Buds are tiny in design and resemble in-ear earbuds from companies like Samsung and Google.
When will Apple introduce the Beats Studio Buds?
The images suggest that several color options will be available, including black, white, and red. There will also be a matching oval charging case. The small and simple design of the Beats Studio Buds seems to be similar to what we expect from the second generation of AirPods Pro. Rumors suggest that the next AirPods Pro will feature a rounded, compact design that is also stemless. Currently, there is no word on when Apple will officially unveil the new Beats Studio Buds.
