Apple released the fourth beta of iOS 14.5 and Co. this evening. As a result, a new feature was integrated into Apple Music.
In iOS 14.5, Apple Music subscribers get a new way to share song lyrics from the app on Instagram and iMessage. Now, another feature has been added to the service in the fourth beta - "City Charts." These are new playlists that are updated daily, as 9to5mac reportedSpecifically, Apple Music users will have access to playlists from over 100 cities around the world with the most played songs in each one. Apple is advertising the whole thing as follows:
iOS 14.5 refreshes Apple Music
Discover what's popular in over 100 cities around the world, with charts updated daily.
Interestingly, the playlists cannot currently be accessed. Therefore, there is currently speculation as to whether Apple may want to wait for the official launch of iOS 14.5. It also remains unknown for the time being which cities will actually have a dedicated playlist on Apple Music. In addition to the daily playlists, iOS 14.5 has some other improvements for Apple Music subscribers. For example, some menu areas in the app have been revised, and there are also a new option, as mentioned above, to share song lyrics on social networks. (Photo by nikkimeel / Bigstockphoto)
