iOS 12.5.1: Apple revises encounter notifications
In December, Apple released iOS 12.5 alongside iOS 14.3, integrating support for encounter notifications on older devices for the first time. The new patch is intended to fix a bug that caused the logging profile to be displayed in the wrong language. The update is available on the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, the iPad Air, iPad mini 2 and 3, and iPod touch 6. As always, Apple's software update is recommended in this case too.
