At the beginning of the year, TV manufacturer LG promised that it would also be able to support TVs from 2018 with AirPlay 2 & HomeKit by the end of 2020. The update is now being officially rolled out.
AirPlay 2 allows users to stream videos, music, podcasts and more directly from an iPhone, iPad or Mac to a compatible LG Smart TV without the need for an Apple TV. Now LG is said to have started to develop the corresponding update (Version 05.30.02) to be rolled out.
