The iPhone 12 series appears to have a feature that allows charging accessories. However, the function is disabled.
The iPhone 11 series was already rumored to be able to charge accessories. In fact, a teardown made a discovery that indicatesBut Apple itself has never officially confirmed the feature. Now the iPhone 12 series is also said to have such a function. This is according to an FCC filing by Jeremy Horwitz of VentureBeat discovered In the documentation, Apple explains that 2020 iPhone models support a wireless charging feature that apparently will be enabled for at least one future Apple accessory:

In addition to being able to be charged using a desktop WPT charger (puck), 2020 iPhones also support a 360kHz WPT charging feature for charging accessories. Currently, the only accessory that can be charged by iPhones is an external potential Apple accessory in the future.
Mark Gurman – journalist at Bloomberg – speculated that one of these accessories could be new AirPods with MagSafe support, which will allow the AirPods case to be magnetically attached to the back of the iPhone 12 Devices to attach and charge. Today's discovery suggests that Apple has continued working on the charging feature and integrated the functionality into its MagSafe protocol.
