Apple presented the brand new iPad Air 4 during the last online keynote. However, a launch date was not given. Now an online shop may have leaked the sales start.
The iPad Air 4 has a completely new design - modeled on the iPad Pro - and offers a high-resolution 10.9-inch display. As already suspected, the Touch ID sensor has been housed in the standby button. The new iPad Air has a "huge leap in performance" thanks to the latest A14 Bionic processor. The CPU is around 40% faster, GPU performance has been improved by 30%, and machine learning performance has also increased thanks to a new neural engine. It also has True Tone and an anti-reflective coating as well as USB-C. The speaker system has also been revised as part of the update. The device supports the second generation Apple Pencil and the brand new Magic Keyboard.
iPad Air 4: Sales launch leaked?
According to Apple, the sales launch will take place in October. But Adorama may have now leaked the official date. On the iPad Air 4 product page There is a note that suggests delivery on September 30th.

The interesting thing is that it is an official Apple reseller. Although the note does not come from Apple, Adorama could have information that we do not yet know. Of course, it is also possible that the date given is simply a forgotten placeholder. But the fact that the device can already be pre-ordered from the online shop fuels the assumption that this is the correct date. However, a note in the Apple online shop contradicts this. It says that the product will be available from October. So it remains to be seen whether Apple will actually release the device next week or during the course of next month.
