Apple has now released the seventh beta of iOS 14, iPadOS 14 and more. This time, too, improvements have been made in some areas.
The iOS 14 preview is now updated weekly and is slowly getting closer to its goal. The further it progresses, the fewer new features are implemented. But there are also interesting improvements in the seventh beta.
iOS 14 Beta: Small but nice changes
rainbow wallpapers – The existing rainbow wallpaper options now also have a customized dark mode version. However, this cannot be selected manually. This means that the rainbow image adapts to the system settings. Therefore, dark mode must be activated to display the corresponding version.

Changed categories in the app library – Apple has changed the categories in the App Library. Options now include Suggestions, Recently Added, Productivity & Finance, Social, Utilities, Information & Reading, Utilities, Creativity, Health & Fitness, Entertainment, Shopping & Grocery, Other, Travel, Games, Arcade, TestFlight, and Education.
AirPods note – When connecting AirPods or AirPods Pro, the notification displayed above had incorrect text. The issue has been resolved in the current iOS 14 beta.
Should further innovations appear, we will report on them as usual. If you want to test iOS 14 yourself, you will find comprehensive instructions on how to run the official iOS 14 public beta below. (Photo by Denys Prykhodov / Bigstockphoto)
