Apple has unexpectedly released iOS 13.6.1, iPadOS 13.6.1 and a supplementary update to macOS 10.15.6.
Apple rolled out iOS 13.6.1, iPadOS 13.6.1 and a supplementary update to macOS 10.15.6 for all users late in the evening. According to Apple's release notes, the supplementary update fixes a problem that could cause virtualization applications such as VMware to crash. It also fixes a problem that could cause the iMac 2020 to appear washed out after waking from sleep mode. Apple is also said to fix some bugs in iOS 13.6.1. For example, a problem has been solved whereby unnecessary files with system data are not automatically deleted when the available storage space is running low.
