The “iPhone X Plus” could be the first iPhone with dual SIM.
Rumors that at least one of the new iPhones will have two SIM card slots in the fall have been circulating online since February this year. Now the developer Guilherme Rambo found new clues in the fifth iOS 12 Developer Beta. In the system depths he was able to find references such as “second SIM status" and "second SIM Tray status“. These were assigned to the existing keys “simStatus" and "simTrayStatus“ added.
This discovery fuels all the rumors about a multi-SIM in the iPhone, even Guilherme Rambo himself believes in it, but the iGroup could also only offer such a function in certain regions.
Whether Apple will release an iPhone with dual SIM remains uncertain – the fact is that iOS 12 is currently being prepared for it.
