Apple has now officially kicked off this year's WWDC 2020 and presented the next big Apple TV operating system as part of the digital keynote - that's what tvOS 14 can do.
In addition to iOS 14 or iPadOS 14, watchOS 7 and macOS 11 Big Sur, tvOS 14 was also released presentedThe list of new features is particularly interesting. Last year, the Apple TV received a new Control Center with tvOS 13, support for multiple users with the Up Next function, integrated support for Xbox One and Playstation DualShock 4 joysticks and new underwater screensavers. This year, Apple is bringing the Home app to the Apple TV with tvOS 14. Users also receive a picture-in-picture notification when people approach their house.

The prerequisite for this is the use of a HomeKit-enabled surveillance camera. In addition, support for multiple users has been expanded and can now be used specifically for Apple Arcade games. This allows users to access their personal game status directly and easily. Part of tvOS 14 is also expanded support for the Xbox controller. In addition to the features mentioned above, there will also be the audio sharing option, known from iOS 13. The new Apple TV operating system is now available for developers to download - the public beta will be rolled out in July. (Photo by Masarik / Bigstockphoto)
