The Corona Warning App is an app that helps to track and break chains of infection of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19 trigger) in Germany. The app is based on technologies with a decentralized approach and informs people if they have been in contact with an infected person. Transparency is crucial to protect the population and increase acceptance.

The new online presence presents the project and underlines the open source approach. It also examines the functionality of the app in detail. Answers to the most important questions were also provided. Later on, the website will receive a Corona-Warn-App open source blog and a data protection document that breaks down all the details of how personal data is handled.
