The wait for dark mode is finally over. WhatsApp has released an update for both the normal application and the business solution that includes dark mode. As Apple has already specified, this is dynamic. This means that the appearance of WhatsApp adapts to the system. If dark mode is activated, WhatsApp automatically switches to the dark appearance.
New search option part of the update
Of course, this requires at least iOS 13 or newer. According to WhatsApp, work on the new theme started in October 2019. However, it remains to be seen whether every user will like it. To be honest, the speech bubbles look a bit strange. In addition to the dark mode, the update includes a new search option that allows filtering by sender, content type and label.
