Samsung recently launched the Galaxy lineup by four devices, including the folding phone Galaxy Z Flip. What initially looked promising now seems to be developing into a new disaster.
The internet is currently making fun of the foldable Motorola Razr because it has followed in the footsteps of the Samsung Galaxy Fold. But Samsung also seems to miss the mockery. Now the time has come to seriously question Samsung's quality management. The Galaxy Z Flip is neither dustproof nor waterproof. According to Samsung, however, it does have minimal dust protection on the hinge. But this does not seem to keep its promise - according to the verdict of iFixit. Although the test was a bit exaggerated, it turned out that the hinge was already showing signs of wear.
Immortalized in the display
This causes problems in the folding mechanism. Samsung therefore seems to be taking the folding problem into the second round. And what about the display? According to the Korean smartphone manufacturer, the Galaxy Z Flip has an ultra-thin, flexible glass. But this statement is not true, as has now been revealed. According to the report, although it is a flexible glass display, it has been covered with a plastic layer - the result: it is not scratch-resistant. The verdict is accordingly harsh. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is not a device suitable for everyday use. (Image: Samsung)
